Clément Vidal studied philosophy at the Université Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he wrote a thesis on the notion of infinity in 2003. In 2004 he did an additional masters in mathematical logic. In 2005 he finished another masters in cognitive science, with a thesis on the "global brain" emerging from the Internet. Since 2001 he has been webmaster of the site philosophons.com, which supports the writing and discussion of philosophical topics. He is beginning his second year of a PhD in the philosophy of cosmology, at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). A prime research interest is the philosophy of evolutionary cosmology and its implications for our scientific worldview.
